Product Review – SENSSE Eye Massager
th November Now I’m no beauty blogger but what I am is a sleep deprived mama with very tired eyes. So, when the opportunity came up to review the SENSSE Eye Massager, I thought why not?! The idea is that by using it for just 3 minutes a few times a week, you can have fresher and brighter eyes. According to the SENSSE team, it promises to:
It cleanses your skin, soothes tired and puffy eyes, flattens wrinkles, and stimulates collagen production in just a few minutes daily.
Sounds too good to be true right? Well this is what I thought:
THE SENSSE EYE MASSAGER REVIEW
First of all it came well packaged in a beautifully simple box with clean lines. This kind of presentation always attracts me to beauty items as I think it provides an image of class and elegance. Granted this is pretty much everything I’m not, but a girl has to dream right?!
The unit itself is very light and about 13cm in length. It comes with a small storage pouch to keep it in when not in use which is also very handy if you want to travel and take it with you.
To use the SENSSE Eye Massager there is a two step process.
First of all is the cleansing function marked with a little ‘c’ on the back switch. This setting gives off a blue LED light and slow vibrations which promises to refresh your eyes and brighten the skin in that area. The next step is to clense and moisturise your skin as you usually would, and then use the moisturising ‘m’ setting on the device. This uses the red LED light and quicker vibrations to hydrate your skin and encourage it to absorb all that lovely moisturiser you just applied. This process should only take 3 minutes and the idea is your eyes look brighter and fresher.
The SENSSE Eye Massager comes with a smart touch sensor which means that the vibration only starts when you are both touching the device and it is in direct contact with your skin. Which is a great functionality, even if it did take me a few minutes to figure out how to get it to vibrate. That teaches me not to read the instuctions before trying to use it!
I’m not sure how noticibly different my eyes are but I have to say the entire process is very soothing and works well to revive tired eyes. They feel more energised, even if having a baby and a toddler who don’t sleep particularly well means that they don’t particularly look it.
