Can Appy drinks make you happy?
Can you see what I did there? *see’s tumbleweed and moves on*
In all seriousness though, if you follow the blog then you will know that I have a pair of toddlers that are very fussy eaters. This unfortunately extends to drinks, and the Bear in particular is very fussy over what she will drink and what she deems as ‘yucky’. So when the team from the Appy Kids Co got in contact and asked us to try their products I was keen to give it a go as I’m always looking for good ‘on the go’ options.
We were sent the Paw Patrol pouches in apple and also orange, along with some Dora the Explorer mixed berries pouches and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pouches in a ‘mutifruit’ flavour.
Appy Drinks is a start up company and I immediately loved their values
With a strong focus on ethically sourced ingredients, family wellbeing, green packaging and their positive attitude – all of these things resonated with me as a mum. I’ll be honest though and say that although I love their values, it’s not the ultimate reason for choosing a drink for my toddlers. That pleasure goes to whether it will generate a tantrum when I try to provide one. So the question is, did Appy drinks pass the toddler test?
I’m pleased to say the answer is yes!
The characters on the packaging were a huge hit with the Bear who is currently Paw Patrol mad and obessed by anything pink. So the Paw Patrol options and (pink) Dora the Explorer were big hits with her.
He’s less fussy by the packaging but seemed to really enjoy the multifruit flavour. What was good for him though is that the design of the pouches made it really easy for him to hold and walk around with. Because – you know – heaven forbid my children actually stay still for more than 2 minutes.
Good Impressions
Overall I really liked these. As a mum, the fact that they are no added sugar is a must and I like the fact that the Paw Patrol ones in particular, are fortified with vitamin A, C and E. Which, with fussy eaters, is always a bonus I look out for as a least I’m getting some extra goodness in them from somewhere. For them; they taste great and the packaging is really appealing to them. Overall, I think it’s safe to say we were all impressed.
They are perfect for chucking in the changing bag while we’re out and about which (for us) is often crammed full of food and drinks to keep my two fuelled during the day. Therefore, if you are looking for a quick and easy option for lunchboxes and day trips, then these are a great choice.
You can find out all about the Appy Kids Co and explore their full range on the Appy Kids Co website.
DISCLOSURE: I was provided with these items in return for my honest review. As always though, all opinions expressed in this post are my own.

A healthier option with bright, attractive packaging and a juice that children love – that sounds like a complete win/win/win if you ask me!
