Go Plastic Free With Humble (AD)
The Humble Co get straight to the point on their website: there is no Planet B. And let’s face it, they’re right. I’ve seen an amazing quote doing the rounds which states that it doesn’t need a few of us to live perfectly, instead it needs everyone to live imperfectly. Something along those lines anyway, but the general gist is that if everyone simply tried their best and made what changes they can, it will collectively make a huge impact.
One place that it’s actually pretty easy to make a big change is in the bathroom. The great news is that there are already companies out there creating products which are not only great for us, but great for the planet too. The Humble Co is one such company. They recently sent me a few products from their range to take a closer look at. Here’s what we thought.
The Humble Brush
At the centre of the Humble range is their toothbrushes. Its handle is made from 100% biodegradable, sustainably grown bamboo and its bristles are from DuPont. These toothbrushes are available for adults and kids in a whole range of colours. They last just as long as your old plastic toothbrush but it’s a lot better for our planet and is a quick and easy swap.
The Humble Interdental Brush
I never used an interdental brush before the Humble team sent them to us, but I have to say that I’m converted! Again, made from sustainable bamboo, these little guys let your reach those really hard places between your teeth. So, not only do they look cute, but they’re effective too.
The Humble Floss Pick
Another alternative to flossing is using floss picks. While traditionally made from plastic, Humble floss picks use corn-starch as its main component. With double thread that effectively picks, it’s shape even helps reach harder places.
Overall, I have been really impressed with this range. Well-made quality products which are kinder to the environment. What’s not to love? You can pick up your own from Boots and online from Amazon (affiliate link). Or, you could read on to find out how to win your own.
