This is a collaborative post. Thank you for supporting the posts whih make this blog possible.
At this rate, the garden might be the only place that we can spend the summer. It doesn’t look like there are going to be many establishments open to go and eat or drink at, and it looks like we’re going to be having some fabulous weather. So, we’re stuck in the predicament of what to do. Although we might be allowed out more by the time the summer really comes, it won’t be a summer where you can go and easily enjoy a drink in a beer garden. You could, however, have some great garden parties when the sun is shining, and really relish in the fact that you have a garden to do so. Some people aren’t lucky enough to have one, and won’t have the freedom to just walk outside their home and relax. If you’re lucky enough to, we want to show you some of the garden spruce up ideas that we’re loving for summer.
Get It Looking Neat & Tidy
The first thing that you need to do is get it looking neat and tidy. You don’t want to be sitting in a garden where you spend most of your time picking out faults or looking at a fence that’s half come down. If you’re not someone who usually spends much time in the garden, then a broken fence panel or two could be your reality. Fencing is easy enough to repair, all you have to do is find a local company to do it for you. If you were to invest in having some new fencing placed all around your garden to enclose it, we promise it will be worth it. It can make your garden look brand new again.
Then it’s simply the case of sprucing it up and removing any dead plants and trying to condition the lawn if it’s looking a bit worse for wear. The key to keep it looking beautiful is to reduce soil compaction, which can lead to poor growth, dead areas and flooding during rain. To prevent this, you should consider protection mats for grass to protect the ground, especially if you’re planning a garden party where many feet will be treading the soil down. Which leads us to…
Garden Party Worthy
So, now onto the fun part.
You want to make sure that if you are going to be having garden parties that your garden is ready for it. All you need to do is create an area where people can sit and relax, and there’s plenty of garden furniture to choose from on the internet that you could have delivered to your home. In fact, you could even save money by paying to have it delivered.
If you’re struggling to think of ways that you could piece this together so it would look good, take a look at some of the ideas you might be able to find on Pinterest.
Things To Do
There are many things to do in your garden that will mean you’re throwing the best garden party ever. You could set up a makeshift limbo and throw a competition, sit around a log burner and drink and tell stories, cook a lovely BBQ. There’s just so much fun to be had in the garden when the weather is shining and you’re around good people such as your friends and family.
