Resort 1: Flaine, France
Flaine is an excellent ski resort to visit in the heart of winter if you are a beginner skier. At the first stages of skiing learning, slopes and sheer mountains seem terrifying. You don’t have to worry about such thoughts at the Flaine because it is at a low altitude on the Alps. The more you practise the higher you can go as it is interconnected with other resorts in the popular Grand Massif ski area.
Resort 2: Val Thorens, France
One more ski resort in the French Alps that you should consider travelling to in order to have the best ski learning experience is Val Thorens. This resort has more than five zones where only beginner skiers can go and practise. The pistes at these zones are flat and wide. Once you feel confident enough, you can gradually move to more and more challenging pistes and zones.
Resort 3: Pas de la Casa, Andorra
Pas de la Casa is the name of both an Andorran town and the ski resort of the town. Andorra is famous for its excellent ski resorts, so you know that the experience there will be impeccable. The majority of the pistes are green and blue, meaning that they are nursery and beginner pistes respectively.
Resort 4: Saas Fee, Switzerland
Last but not least, Saas Fee is known for its idyllic and calm atmosphere. The view of the spectacular Swiss Alps that all visitors can admire since the resort’s most pistes are above 2,500 metres will leave them speechless. Beginner skiers have nothing to worry about as the majority of the pistes are targeted for them, but there are several more challenging ones that they can try once they gain confidence in their skills.
