Introducing The Bo
First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Mr Bojangles but as I am hoping we will become firm friends, you can call me Bo. I also answer to BoBo, The Bo, BoBot, DumBo and fluffpot…..yeah don’t ask about that one!
I am a 9 year old moggie – 10 next month in fact – who lives in a small rural village in North Wales. Life used to be pretty amazing; snuggles and attention from my two humans on a continual basis. I was their baby smothered and pampered daily – I was even famous on their social media and their phones were full of photos of me then sadly, things changed.
First of all she got fat….I thought it was too much kibble at first but then it kept growing and a feeling of dread filled me: I’d heard about this on the street. The first small human arrived about two and a half years ago and at first it wasn’t so bad: it smelled strange and was loud but I soon learnt to avoid it. Unfortunately though she now walks, talks and is so quick that I only just manage to get out of her way before she makes a grab for me. She can now chase and climb stairs, how is that fair?! And as if that wasn’t bad enough, another one arrived 7 months ago.
So you get the picture that life in the home is now fraught with dangers and I need to keep my skills honed to avoid The Toddler, but sadly life outside is just as tough. You see, there is a brute who lives next door who attempts to invade my territory on a daily basis and I swear he is also trying to claim all the Queens! What can I say: my life is a heady mix of love, conflict and rivalries.
You may be wondering why I am telling you all this? Well, if my human is to believed it costs a lot to keep me in kitty litter and kibble and it’s time that I earned my keep. Can you believe it?! So here I am; cat labour contributing to her blog in my own little column so I hope you don’t mind but I’ll be popping up more from time to time. I’m pretty small and don’t need much room in this little corner of the internet, but I can promise there is plenty to share and hopefully it’ll bring a little smile to your day.
Meow for now…..Bo

Love this! He’s gorgeous. I’m a bit worried about how our (mainly indoor) cat is going to cope with our new arrival in June…

I can really recommend that if you’re in hospital for more than a few hours once the little one arrives, get your OH to take the babies clothes home and leave around the house dirty rather than putting them straight in the wash so the cat can get used to the new small. Overall though they’re pretty adaptable. Good luck!
