Get Out and Grow with Sudocrem – Giveaway
Did you know that less than 10% of children can name an English apple? Although there are thousands of apples home grown here in the UK, a recent study revealed just how few children can name a variety. I have to admit, if you ask my kids what kinds of apple there are, they would answer simply red or green. Let’s be fair though, they are 2 and 4.
In all seriousness though, this is why last year we started our own little vegetable patch for us to grow together at home. Something that we plan to repeat again this year. We want our kids to understand where their food comes from, and to get a step closer to nature. The kind of understanding that only comes first-hand by getting your hands dirty. This is why I loved the sound of the Sudocrem Get Out and Grow campaign.
WHAT IS GET OUT AND GROW?
Sudcrem and Clifton have joined forces to launch Get Out and Grow. This is a campaign designed to get families outside and into the garden planting, growing and basically having fun together. It covers things such as potting plants, how to spot a weed as well as watering and feeding.
If you don’t have a garden, it doesn’t mean you can’t get involved. Get Out and Grow is all about using whatever space you do have. A kitchen windowsill or a few tubs is still a great way to teach our children about nature.
WHERE DOES SUDOCREM COME IN?
Well, we all know that gardening can be tough on skin and Sudocrem have now launched the gardener’s new best friend: a pocket-sized form of My Little Sudocrem.
I have to admit that since becoming a mum, Sudocrem alongside baby wipes have formed my emergency kit out and about. It really does work on everything from stings to bites, dryness to scrapes. I’ve carried my little pot of Sudocrem with us since Darcie was born. I love the design of the new pot, it’s so much handier than the old one.
THE GIVEAWAY
To support the campaign, Sudocrem have created a goody bag aimed for 2-5 year olds. It contains the following all contained in a Get Out and Grow branded drawstring bag: Get Out and Grow branded t-shirt for 3-4 year olds, My Little Sudocrem, child’s gardening gloves, small watering can, mini gorilla gardening tub, flower seed packet, lavender seed packet and a few coloured sticks to use as plant markers.
Sound good? Well, Sudocrem are very kindly offering a Get Out and Grow goody bag to give away to one lucky Tippytupps reader. Just enter via Rafflecopter using the link below and follow the usual social media accounts.
