Product Review & Giveaway – Bug & Bean Signs
If you are a regular reader of the blog then you know that we love handmade goods and try to support small businesses if we can. One such business is Bug & Bean which is ran by the wonderful Holly.
What Bug & Bean do is make the cutest little signs which are just perfect for nurseries, childrens rooms or anywhere else you’d like to hang one. When Holly got in contact to find out if we wanted to review one of her signs, we jumped at the chance. Darcie’s little friend Amber had a birthday coming up so we thought it would be a great time to give her a little treat in the form of a name sign for her bedroom door.
THE REVIEW
As Amber is not my child it’s hard to know what to order but as her bedroom is decorated with birds and owls in pinks, pastel green and creams that seemed like the safest place to start. I passed that information onto Holly who came back to us with a few designs to choose from. I have to say at this stage I was so impressed with the customer service from Bug & Bean as Holly was so quick in coming back to us and providing some suggestions; both of which were wonderful.
It was a hard choice to make as both options were lovely and so cute, but in the end we went with the owls as our selection and waited for our order to arrive. We didn’t have to wait long as within a few days it was with us, well packed in a little box and bubble wrap to make sure nothing was damaged in transport.
We couldn’t be more pleased with it as it’s super sweet and the perfect addition to any childs room. In fact we have it on good authority that Amber very quickly declared it as hers and hung it on her bedroom door. Nice and light, it makes minimal noise against the door when hung. However, Holly does have a tip for that!
“Adding a little white tack to the bottom of the sign makes sure that it doesn’t bang or move when the door is open/shut.”
Overall I think this makes for a lovely addition when decorating a childs bedroom or nursery. Or if they don’t have one already; a great birthday, Christmas or christening gift.
