Disney Princess Wooden Toy Collection | AD
In a world where we are all become a little more sustainability focused, I am always looking for toys that are a little more eco-conscious. So, when the chance came along to take a look at the new Disney Princess Wooden Toy Collection from Character Options, I was more than happy to do exactly that!
Now I will be honest. I accepted review thinking that this would be a lovely gift for my goddaughter. However, I was surprised by just how much they resonated with my two as well.
With a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, I thought this wouldn’t be their cup of tea. However, I was thrilled to be proven wrong as both were utterly captivated by them and – especially Henry – couldn’t wait to get his hands on them. And I don’t blame him!
Not only are these toys beautifully made, but he can still see all of his favourite Disney character ready to play. They really captured his imagination immediately as he jumped straight into small world play\
Disney Princess Wooden Princess Four Figure Set
These are utterly adorable and I love that each of the figures are double sided. giving each character a front and a back making them so much more fun. We were sent Merida and Angus along with Rapunzel and Pascal in our set but there is a second set available which includes Ariel and Flounder along with Cinderella and Gus Gus.
The characters come with their own little wooden stand which is not only great for packing away, but it also helps promote hand eye coordination for little ones.
Disney Princess Wooden Cinderella’s Pumpkin Carriage
This little set is nothing short of stunning. And so it should be, seeing as Cinderella has to go to the ball!
The pumpkin carriage itself is gorgeous with lots of beautiful details in it. We loved the fact it was a pumpkin on one side, and a glorious carriage on the other which had my two reinacting the story.
It comes with a lovely detachable horse and well as 3 double sided figures: The Fairy Godmother, Jaq and of course Cinderella herself with a before and after look on each of her two sides which is a lot of fun.
The characters are interchangeable between the sets which meant that it wasn’t too long before Merida and Repunzal were joining Cinderella on the way to her ball, and why not?!
The Verdict
I love these sets. Beautiful, sustainable and including the Disney characters that children already know and love. I already have a few children in mind that will be receiving one of these sets in their future.
Especially seeing how well my two engaged with them, I can be confident that they would be well loved and played with for years to come. Plus with news that both Rapunzel’s Tower and Ariel’s Grotto playset are on their way, there will be a fabulous selection for little ones to choose from.
And don’t worry, my goddaughter won’t be overlooked as I have no doubt that these toys will withstand plenty of play, so they will still look beautiful when they are ready to be passed down to her.
DISCLOSURE: we were sent these items for the purposes of this review. As always though, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
