Going bananas for Bandai Bananas!
AD | review
This week we were lucky to receive a rather delicious hamper from Bandai that was stuffed full of fruit. Hidden in amongst the delicious treats, were some treats of a much more fun variety. Bananas, strawberries, lemon and lime but not quite as we know them.
Come take a closer look inside fruit of a different variety.
WHAT ARE BANANAS?
Following on from their previous success, Bandai is now on series 3 of their fun filled Bananas fruit themed collectable. This new series sees the well-loved banana shape return in packs of 3, but they are now with bright and beautiful chocolate dipped colouring.
It doesn’t just stop at bananas though as there are also lemon and limes available which come with a fabulous peel back feature. In addition to this, brand new for series 3, you can now go Bananas for strawberries too. Not only are they a new shape added to the Bananas range, but they also contain very special limited edition Crushies.
This sweet smelling addition to the Bananas family has certainly been a big hit in our house as the Bear seems to love anything strawberry shaped.
Regardless of your chosen fruit though, as soon as you open it you are met with the sweet smell which comes from a Bananas collectable. Once inside, hidden within each one is a little cute Crushie character along with 2 small little foodie friends, gemstone stickers, a character sticker to track your collection as well as a hanging vine to display your Crushie.
This vine allows you to transport and display your cute characters, perfect for swapping with friends to grow your collection.
WHAT WE THOUGHT
The Bear loves any kind of cute collectable so needless to say that these have been a big hit in our house. She especially loves that every single one comes with its very own resealable fruity home.
What I loved most about them though is that they come in more gender-neutral tones that just pink and purple. Don’t get me wrong, the pinks can still be found in abundance for those that love them, but there are also blues, yellows and oranges which can be found in the range. Boys love small world play too so it’s lovely to find a collectable toy where they can join in even if they don’t like pink.
Bananas are available from Smyths, The Entertainer, Argos, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda, Toymaster, Very & Littlewoods nationwide.

DISCLOSURE: I was sent our Bananas hamper for the purposes of this review. However – as always – all thoughts and opinions remain my own.
