Yoto: brand new cards for spring
AD | review – It’s no secret that we are massive Yoto fans in our house and one of the things we love is how readily they always bring out new cards and new content. Back at the beginning of the month they released four new cards to add to their huge library and we were very lucky to of been sent a few to have a little listen to.
I don’t know who was more excited. Me or the kids!!
Oi Frog & Friends
If you have little ones then the likelihood is that you have already come across the Oi! We have a few of the books and the kids LOVE them.
Kids can discover who sits on what through this laugh out loud series of rhyming fun. Whether it is cats sitting on mats or gnats, it is a listen that will delight.
Read by David Mitchell, the collection includes: Oi Frog! Oi Dog! Oi Cat! Oi Duck-billed Platypus, Oi Puppies and Oi Aardvark. Some of these were new to us which the kids loved.

The Mog Collection
This is such a gorgeous collection of stories from beloved children’s author Judith Kerr. My kids have been in love with her work since discovering The Tiger who came to Tea when they were really little so the Bear especially was so excited to get The Mog Collection in her player as soon as possible. The card contains 5 fabulous stories about this rather fabulous cat.
Including: Mog the Forgetful Cat, Mog and the Baby, Mog’s Christmas, Mog and the V.E.T and Mog’s Bad Thing.
- Running time: 1 hour 4 minutes

Percy The Park Keeper Collection
We are actually quite new to the Percy world after encountering him during the National Trust Christmas trail back in 2021 as it is not something I ever read as a child. I was missing out though as the stories are charming, filled with the adventures and fun that Percy enjoys with all his animal friends who live in the park he looks after.
Read by Jim Broadbent, the card contains 7 stories including: One Springy Day, The Secret Path, The Rescue Party, Percy’s Bumpy Ride, After the Storm
The Treasure Hunt and One Snowy Night.
- Running time: 51 minutes

Where’s Spot? and other stories
We don’t actually have this card as my two are a little old for it now but it felt wrong to mention all the other new releases for Spring without mentioning this little chap. I have no doubt that most people would have heard about this rather mischievous little puppy who enjoys many adventures.
The stories were a massive part of both my childhood and my children’s and I have no doubt that this card will delight younger listeners.
The card includes a massive range of the stories including: Happy Birthday Spot, Spot’s New Game, Spot Tidies Up, Spot’s Band, Spot Dresses Up, Spot’s Horse, Spot’s Tent, Spot’s Favourite Toy, Spot Goes Camping, Spot’s First Picnic, Spot at the Fair, Spot’s Garden, Spot Follows His Nose, Spot’s Umbrella, Spot’s Windy Day, Spot’s Tree House, Spot Finds a Key, Spot’s Magical Christmas, Spot and His Grandma, Spot in the Snow, Time for Bed Spot, Spot and his Grandparents Go to the Carnival, Spot’s Breakfast, Sweet Dreams and Spot.
Just a few then!!
