We chose not to have resolutions this year but one of the things that we do want to do is get outdoors more and just explore. The kids are of an age now that they have fallen in love with tech and a lot of their social life is now spent online with friends. To balance that out, we’re going to be trying to get out and about as much as possible as a family.

Our first big walk of the year was up Moel Famau – a walk that we have done more than once but is a lovely challenge for us all.

I’m not going to go through all the details of the walk and facilities because I have already shared that before in this blog post. Feel free to take a look and check it out.

However this little series is about us capturing where we have been, what we have done and to keep it as a little virtual photo album. As part of keeping track of our walks, the kids are also recording all the things they like and don’t like about each walk. Here’s what they said about Moel Famau in January:

The views – being able to see so far.
Distance – they loved that it was a big walk, though this was added afterwards as they definitely didn’t love it that much on the way back down!
